Josh Misner, Ph.D. began writing about mindful parenthood in 2012 as an effort to help other fathers connect on a more meaningful level with their children, regardless of age. Dr. Misner is an award-winning communication & leadership professor and mindfulness researcher, whose research focuses on the impact of mindful presence, or paying careful attention on purpose, particularly with respect to fathers and their families.

A devoted husband and active father of four, Dr. Misner teaches parents practical, realistic methods they can apply to their lives to savor each and every moment with the intention of playing an active role in children’s memories tomorrow.
